2. Preparation Before the Festival
Confirmation of User Information
- Please reconfirm that the contact information you registered on the Web System is correct.
- You may confirm or change the contact information through “User Information” by clicking the top right icon of the home screen of the Web System.
- If you wish to change your name, Furigana, UTokyo Account Username, affiliation, or student ID number, please contact the Committee via Inquiry.
- The Committee will contact you during the May Festival through the contact address you registered on the Web System including the phone number. The Committee will bear absolutely no responsibility for any loss caused by failures in registering the correct contact information.
Reconfirmation of Request Results
- Regarding actions that require requests and permission for carrying out your project, please reconfirm what specifically is permitted.
- The actions above include handling food and drink, commercial transactions, actions related to external entities, and collection of personal information.
- You can check the permitted actions in “Confirmation of Request Results” on the Web System.
- The permitted actions will also be written in your “Certificate of Project Registration (企画登録証)”, which will be distributed in paper form before the May Festival.
- The Japanese paper form of the certificate is the authorized certificate, and the English version is for reference only.
- In case there are mistakes in the document or you wish to make changes, please contact us via Inquiry immediately.
- Alterations may not be approved depending on the content and timing.
- Please be sure to contact the Committee in advance if you wish to conduct any other new actions that require requests and permissions.
- If you conduct these actions without permission, your project may be subject to Measures or Punishments.
Confirmation of Important Documents/Who to Contact During the Festival
Confirmation of Important Documents
- Please go through the documents in the “Important Document Envelope” that was given to you in the 3rd Information Session. In particular, carefully check the following points.
Points to Confirm
- All documents listed on the envelope are included
- The documents correctly reflect your project’s status
- In particular, they correctly reflect the contents of "Confirmation of Request Results" about the type and amount of goods your project will receive
- In case there are mistakes in the document or you wish to make changes, please contact us via Inquiry immediately.
- Alterations may not be approved depending on the content and timing.
- If both of your project managers are absent, and/or a substitute member attends the 3rd Information Session, we will ask one of your managers to receive the important documents at the Committee’s office on another day.
- We will inform you via Inquiry individually of the time and place to receive the documents.
Confirmation of Who to Contact During the Festival
- The phone number of the Committee member on support for your project during the festival (Basic Contact) is written on the “Handout Envelope" which is distributed at the 3rd Information Session.
- We will later inform you of the number via Inquiry as well.
- Make sure to add the number to your contacts on your phone, as well as to write it down on the front cover of “Almighty vol. Fes in English”.
※The phone number above will be available from 12:00 PM of May 23rd (Fri.) (Day 0) to 12:00 PM of May 26th (Mon.). If you wish to contact the Committee outside of this period, please use Inquiry instead.
Confirmation/Alteration of Official Website
- Please check your project’s “Project Detail Page” on the 98th May Festival Official Website.
- The URL will look like <https://gogatsusai.jp/98/visitor/project/(your_project_ID)>.
- “Project Detail Page” is expected to be released in mid May. We will inform you via Inquiry as soon as it is released.
- You can make changes to your registered contents in “[21]Registration of Information for Official Website” whenever after the “Project Detail Page” is released.
- The changes can also be made during the May Festival.
- We recommend that you make the final changes by May 23rd (Fri.) (Day 0) for an effective advertisement of your project.
- It may take some time for the official website to reflect the changes made to the registration.
- Please note that changes made to the "Brief Introduction of the Project" will not be reflected on the official brochure.
- Should your project need to announce something to visitors during the festival, include that in the top of the "Detailed Introduction of the Project" of “[21]Registration of Information for Official Website”.
- Example: “This project is canceled for today due to rain”, “We are out of tickets for today”, etc.
- Please remember to delete the additional notice when you do not need to announce it anymore.
- If you wish to make changes to your “[20]Registration of Project Information for PR”, please contact the Committee via Inquiry by May 22nd (Thu.) 9:00 PM.
- Please note that changes made here will not be reflected on the official brochure.
Parked Bicycles
- The Committee will transfer parked bicycles on certain areas of the campuses to set up the Committee Headquarters and to prepare for the festival.
- Bicycles parked in certain parking areas on Hongo and Yayoi Campus will be transferred to other areas on campus that do not interfere with the preparation for the festival. We ask you not to park your bicycles in the prohibited areas.
- The transferred bicycles will not be brought back to their previously parked area even after the festival. Furthermore, the Committee will bear absolutely no responsibility for any damage or loss of the bicycles caused during the transfer.
- Please note that each parking area will be closed until the end of the festival after the transfer of the bicycles.

- During the festival, riding bicycles and scooters on campus is prohibited.
Restriction of Inquiry
- Projects cannot send Inquiries to the Committee from May 23rd (Fri.) (Day 0) 12:00 PM to 26th (Mon.) 12:00 PM.
- However, the Committee will still send you important notices via Inquiry in the period above. Please be able to check your Inquiry at all times on your phones or other devices.
- Please refer to “How to Contact the Committee” of “Almighty vol. Fes in English” for more information about contacting the Committee during the festival.
- When contacting the Committee before May 23rd (Fri.) (Day 0) 12:00 PM or after 26th (Mon.) 12:00 PM, please use Inquiry. If you wish to talk on phone or in person, please tell that to the Committee in advance via Inquiry .
